On March 28, 2024, the Center for Atmospheric and Space Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, in collaboration with the Secondary Educational Service Area Office of Sakon Nakhon and the F1D Thailand group, organized the 2nd Esan Free Flight Championship from March 27 to 29, 2024, at the new university gymnasium.
The opening ceremony took place on March 28, 2024, with welcoming remarks by Asst. Prof. Chakrit Chanchitpricha, Acting President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University. Mr. Chaimongkol Rattanon, Director of the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, delivered the opening speech, and the event report was presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wilawan Kumhan, Head of the Center for Atmospheric and Space Sciences.
The competition aimed to enhance teachers’ and students’ knowledge of atmospheric and space sciences, as well as their aeronautical skills. The event attracted 138 student teams from across the country, totaling 414 participants.
