Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, we have taken action to drive the university towards sustainable development following Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs. The university has set a policy to promote operations to protect, restore, and support the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems. Sustainable forest management, fighting desertification stopping land degradation, and restoring and stopping the loss of biodiversity as follows: By virtue of section 31 (1) and (2) of the Rajabhat University act 2004, therefore established a policy for the protection and conservation of local plant and animal species; and reduce the impact of alien species on the university as follows:
Promote planning, management, and maintenance of environmental quality within the university area and nearby communities. To prevent and solve environmental impacts Especially the impact from the development of university projects.
Promote the designation of environmental conservation areas such as forest areas and public park areas, natural water sources, etc., to prevent harm to the environment or ecosystem caused by the development of university projects.
Promote conducting research studies or utilizing them appropriately to prevent potential impacts on native species and the current environment of the area.
Promote and support research, monitoring, and evaluation activities to protect and conserve plant and animal species, as well as their habitats, listed in the IUCN Red List, including native plants and animals in the area.
