The workshop introduced techniques for cultivating suitable fresh grass varieties to be used as feed for beef cattle. It incorporated data from nutritional analyses of various grass species to help farmers select the most suitable types for their specific areas. This knowledge, derived from research findings, was shared with local farmers to improve their feed supply chain using cost-effective local resources.
By optimizing cattle feed production, the project aimed to reduce costs and enhance income for cattle farmers, thereby promoting sustainable agricultural practices and community economic development.
