On February 25, 2022, the Faculty of Agricultural Technology at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, in collaboration with the Center of Excellence for Biodiversity at Chulalongkorn University, organized a mixed seminar titled “On Various Fronts: The Results of Cultivating Golden Apple Snails.” The event was held at the Jamjuree 1 Convention Hall and featured presentations by eight qualified speakers. The primary objectives were to foster collaboration in restoring natural populations of golden apple snails and to create economic value from both Thai strains and golden apple snails.
The seminar aimed to establish a common understanding for collaborative efforts, focusing on research related to socio-economic and environmental impacts, as well as sustainable resource utilization for farmers. This event garnered participation from over 400 attendees, both in person and online, contributing to the promotion of ecosystem and biodiversity conservation.
