On April 21, 2023, the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, organized a short-term training course on “Artificial Insemination of Cattle,” Batch 5. The training was officially opened by Assoc. Prof. Chakrit Chanachitprecha, Acting President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tharadol Chitchak, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, delivering the opening report.

It aimed to impart knowledge on cattle artificial insemination to farmers and the general public, including relevant stakeholders. The course featured instructors from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and the Department of Livestock Development, Sakon Nakhon Province.
Participants were trained on topics including cattle anatomy and reproductive physiology, semen collection and quality testing, sexually transmitted diseases in livestock, artificial insemination techniques, and hygiene practices. The course also aimed to improve the efficiency of those performing artificial insemination on farms, in accordance with regulations from the Veterinary Council. The training consisted of 26 hours of theory and 64 hours of practical application. A total of 20 participants passed the course requirements and received certification.
