“Training Program on Research Ethics in Human Subjects (Social and Behavioral Sciences)
The College of Innovation Management, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, in collaboration with the Research Ethics Center in Human Subjects, Khon Kaen University (RCIM & ECKKU), cordially invites participants to join the training program on “Research Ethics in Human Subjects: Social and Behavioral Sciences”, which will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, via Zoom online platform.
Registration opens at 08:00 AM, and the training will be conducted from 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM.
The objective of this training is to enhance participants’ knowledge and understanding of ethical standards in human research, particularly in the fields of social sciences and behavioral sciences. The training covers the following key topics: Fundamental principles of research ethics Rights and welfare of human participants
The process of research ethics committee approval The training will be conducted by two distinguished speakers: Asst. Prof. Dr. Jakrapan Khadchumsaeng, Chairperson of the Research Ethics Committee in Human Subjects, Group 3 (Social Sciences), Research Ethics Center, Khon Kaen University Asst. Prof. Dr. Wirat Ongkanthanawat, Secretary of the same committee He will address: Risks in social and behavioral research involving human subjects Guidelines for resolving ethical conflicts in research
Registration fees:800 THB for the general public 700 THB for students or registrants affiliated with an educational institution The training is limited to 80 participants only. All participants will receive an official certificate upon completion. Payment deadline: March 28, 2024 Payment should be made via Krungthai Bank, account number 459-0-27094-3, account name: Fund for the Development of the College of Innovation Management. After payment, participants must upload proof of transfer and confirm their registration through the online system.
