“On March 28, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., Dr. Pasutha Komonmalai, Director of the Institute of Language, Arts, and Culture, accompanied by staff members, attended the opening ceremony of the Kram & Craft Sakon Festival, a celebration of the indigo heritage of Sakon Nakhon. The event was officially opened by Mr. Chusak Ruying and was held from March 28 to 29, 2025, at the Dusita Conference Room, Phu Phan Palace Hotel, Sakon Nakhon Province.
The festival featured a variety of activities designed to engage participants in learning about and experiencing the charm of “Kram Sakon,” a valuable cultural asset. The event aimed to extend traditional knowledge into innovative products and creative tourism services, thereby promoting the sustainable preservation of Thai cultural identity.
