On August 30, 2023, A research team led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ratmanee Chanaboon from the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agricultural Technology at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, in collaboration with experts from Rangsit University, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, and Chulalongkorn University, has discovered four new earthworm species. These species were found in Sakon Nakhon and Nakhon Phanom provinces, marking a significant contribution to biological and ecological knowledge in Thailand.
