Researchers from Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University won four awards at the 48th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, an international competition.

On April 26–30, 2023, a team of researchers from Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University participated in the “48th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva” in Geneva, Switzerland. The exhibition showcased 128 inventions from 38 organizations, all selected by the National Research Council of Thailand, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation.

The university’s innovations received significant recognition, with three projects selected for display and competition in the Agriculture – Horticulture – Gardening category:

1. Multi-functional Solar-Powered Water Pump Cart

2. Portable Solar-Powered Multi-purpose Dryer

3. Portable Hybrid Heat-Based Rice Moisture Reduction Machine

These inventions are the result of collaborative knowledge integration from faculty members and researchers across different departments:

– Faculty of Management Science: Asst. Prof. Laddapha Sripusuda

– Faculty of Industrial Technology: Asst. Prof. Kongphop Chamat, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kittiwat Jeabkaew

– Research and Development Institute: Dr. Kanchit Singhsuk, Ms. Supawadee Suwantein, Mr. Phongsakorn Thongpan

These groundbreaking innovations showcase the university’s commitment to advancing scientific and technological solutions to real-world problems, with a particular focus on improving agricultural practices.

During the event, Dr. Viparat Dee-Ong, Director of the National Research Office, and a representative from the Taiwan Invention Association presented the awards. Additionally, The First Institute of Researchers and Inventors in I.R.IRAN honored the recipients with their award. The innovations attracted significant interest from the attendees, and this achievement serves as a showcase of the outstanding quality and international standards of Thai innovations.
