On June 13, 2023, Associate Professor Chakrit Chanchitpreecha, Deputy President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, along with university administrators, attended a briefing to clarify plans ahead of a community consultation regarding the use of public land in Ban Kham Phak Phaeo. The meeting included representatives from the Sakon Nakhon District Office, the Mayor of the Non Hom Subdistrict Administrative Organization, the village head of Ban Kham Phak Phaeo, and local residents from Non Hom Subdistrict, Mueang District, Sakon Nakhon Province.
The purpose of the meeting was to provide information, clarify intentions, and exchange views with the community and relevant government agencies. The university aims to request the use of approximately 194 rai(310 square kilometers) of public land to enhance teaching and learning for Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University students. The land would serve as a high-quality learning center and help develop a skilled workforce by supporting effective educational management.
