Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, in collaboration with the Sakon Nakhon Provincial Office of Education, has established a database and monitoring system at the regional level to support the advancement of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 on quality education.
On August 11, 2023, the Department of Policy and Planning of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, in cooperation with the Sakon Nakhon Provincial Office of Education, held a meeting for the project to create a database and monitoring system at the regional level to support the United Nations’ SDG 4 on education as part of the 2023 fiscal year. The event took place in the Sroi Suwanna meeting room on the 3rd floor of Building 10, the opening ceremony was presided by Mr. Sajja Faikamta, Sakon Nakhon’s Deputy Director of Education.
The meeting included a special lecture to build understanding of SDG 4, its goals, and implementation pathways by Assistant Professor Thosawat Sitawan, Vice President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, along with university faculty and staff who served as instructors. Participants engaged in workshops to exchange knowledge and drive forward the SDG 4 roadmap in Sakon Nakhon province. The initiative aims to build a system for database monitoring, assessment, and reporting to the Sustainable Development Committee on progress related to SDG 4.
