On April 24, 2023, the Building and Vehicle Division of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University organized a Green Office training program. Assoc. Prof. Chakrit Chanachitprecha, Acting President of the university, presided over the opening of the program, with Mr. Preeda Thonsimma, Head of the Building and Vehicle Division, delivering the report. The training was attended by university administrators, faculty, and staff, and it took place in Room 13209, Building 13.
The training was organized in line with the university’s staff development plan and included lectures on the basics of implementing a green office, principles, and evaluation criteria for Green Office certification. The program was honored to have Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siam Arunseemakot, a lecturer at the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, as the guest speaker.
The event was organized to highlight the importance of supporting and promoting a workplace with a good environment. It aimed to foster participation among staff in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and to build awareness and understanding of the Green Office guidelines. These guidelines will be applied to manage resources, energy, and the office environment effectively and efficiently.
