On February 25, 2023, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University participated in an activity aimed at creating a network of strategic leaders to address poverty through integrated, community-based solutions in the Kudbak district. This event was part of the “District-based Integrated Poverty Relief and Sustainable Development Program,” involving Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University and seven partner networks.
The event was officially opened by Mr. Somjet Pimapanon, District Chief of Kudbak, Sakon Nakhon. Following the opening, Mr. Nirut Vichachart, a representative from Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University’s social engineering program, presented the role of social engineers in working collaboratively with local communities to drive development. The event continued with a community activity, where participants planted sunflowers and used mung bean seeds to improve soil quality at the Kudbak District Office. This activity aimed to foster unity and collaboration in the development of the “Kok Nong Na” (agricultural area development) project, contributing to long-term, sustainable local development.

On December 7-8, 2023, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University organized a workshop titled “Horizon Scanning Tools” aimed at addressing poverty issues in Sakon Nakhon Province. The workshop was inaugurated by Assoc. Prof. Chakrit Chanchitprecha, Acting President of the university.
