On December 2, 2022, the Halal Standard Knowledge and Technology Transfer Center of the upper northeastern region at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University participated in the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Thai Halal Manufacturers and Exporters Association. The signing ceremony took place in the Sarasachandran conference room at Rajabhat University in Sakon Nakhon. Associate Professor Dr. Jitti Kittilertpaisan, the Acting President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, and Mr. Phichit Rangsimand, the President of the Thai Association of Halal Yarn Manufacturers and Exporters, were the signatories. The event was attended by the management team of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University and members of the association committee. The primary objective is to promote cooperation in the development of community products to meet Thai Halal standards and enable access to the global Halal product market. This collaboration involves forming a network to inspect and screen products using scientific and technological knowledge, as well as innovation development through the Halal standard technology knowledge transfer center in the Upper Northeastern Region of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University.
