On June 27, 2023, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University (SNRU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic collaboration with Guangxi Minzu University, China. The signing ceremony was conducted online and attended by Associate Professor Chakrit Chanchitpreecha, Acting President of SNRU, and Professor Dr. Xie Shangguo, President of Guangxi Minzu University, alongside administrators and staff from both institutions. The event took place in the Saraschantra Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Building 10, SNRU.
This MOU, marking the second collaboration between the universities, aims to enhance academic exchanges and cooperation, including:
Short-term study visits
Joint research initiatives in language and culture
Student, faculty, and staff exchange programs for both short-term and long-term studies
The agreement strengthens the academic and cultural ties between the two institutions and fosters closer relations between Thailand and the People’s Republic of China. This partnership will promote mutual understanding and development in education and research.
