On September 21, 2023, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University held a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Education and Sports Department of Savannakhet Province and Savannakhet Teacher College, Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The event took place in the Sorn Suwana meeting room on the 3rd floor of Building 10, with administrators, faculty, and staff from all three institutions attending as witnesses.

They agreed to work together in various academic areas, such as accepting and supporting scholarships for students from Laos, student, faculty, and staff exchanges in academics, arts, culture, language, sports, joint research on common interests, and organizing conferences and seminars, particularly in the fields of science and humanities, as well as other relevant academic areas.
The signing was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Chakrit Janchitprecha, Deputy President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University; Dr. Suksamphon Anothai from the Education and Sports Department of Savannakhet Province; and Dr. Ratamee Phasaisri, Director of Savannakhet Teacher College, representing their respective institutions. The MOU was prepared in three languages: Thai, Lao, and English.
