On July 21, 2023, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University warmly welcomed the Tobacco-Free Higher Education Committee and a delegation from the Health Profession Network for a Smoke-Free Thai Society, under the Royal Patronage of the Medical Association of Thailand. The visit was part of their review of the university’s efforts in promoting a tobacco-free higher education environment.
Professor Dr. Tosawat Sitthawan, Vice President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, along with university administrators, greeted the visitors. During the visit, they discussed the university’s past activities to eliminate tobacco products on campus and exchanged experiences on the development of tobacco-free higher education institutions. The meeting also involved receiving feedback and encouragement to ensure the continued success and sustainability of the tobacco-free initiatives at the university.
