The Office of the Royal Initiative Plant Genetic Conservation Project (RSPG-SNRU) organized the second training session of 2024 on “Surveying and Creating a Local Biodiversity Resource Database (Nine Worksheets Model)” during 19–22 March 2024 at the Sroi Suwanna Meeting Room, Building 10, 3rd Floor, SNRU.
Asst. Prof. Chakrit Chanchitpricha, Acting President of SNRU, delivered the opening remarks, while Asst. Prof. Jiraporn Sumangka, Deputy Director of RSPG-SNRU, gave the opening report.
The training supports the Royal Initiative on Plant Genetic Conservation, aiming to enhance participants’ understanding of RSPG methodologies and promote hands-on practices in implementing the school botanical garden curriculum.
Participants included administrators, teachers, and education personnel from institutions with RSPG recognition, as well as local administrative officers who are part of the local biodiversity resource network—a total of 75 participants.
