On 27 May 2024, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University (SNRU), led by Asst. Prof. Chakrit Chanchitpreecha, Acting President, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic collaboration with various government agencies responsible for community development. The signing ceremony was held at the Saraschantra Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Building 10. The partner agencies included: Sakon Nakhon Provincial Community Development Office Center for the Protection of the Destitute, Sakon Nakhon Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office Child and Family Shelter, Sakon Nakhon Sakon Nakhon Provincial Cultural Office Sakon Nakhon Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports Sakon Nakhon Provincial Industry Office Sakon Nakhon Provincial Commerce Office This MoU aims to foster cooperation in teaching and learning processes that meet students’ needs, promote research, academic services, training, and the production of graduates in the Community Development program. It emphasizes the cooperative education model that integrates academic learning with practical work experience for students. The agreement is expected to enhance the university’s capacity to contribute to community development and strengthen the missions of the partner agencies. It also seeks to develop the potential of personnel on both sides, while facilitating shared use of resources and knowledge in academic and community-based initiatives.
