The Department of Environmental Science at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University (SNRU) organized a crucial practical workshop on July 17, 2024, titled “Carbon Footprint of Organization (CFO) Assessment.” The objective of this training was to equip university personnel with the necessary knowledge and skills to measure the amount of greenhouse gases emitted from all organizational activities. The session featured an expert speaker from the Thailand Environment Institute. This practical training focused on collaboration and the use of analytical tools to calculate and report CFO values. This marks a significant step in establishing a carbon emission reduction strategy and reinforces the university’s commitment to sustainable environmental management, aiming to achieve its goal as an environmentally responsible Green University.
