“On June 25, 2024, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kongpop Cha-amat, Vice President, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the integration of cooperation in implementing area-based research and academic services for community engagement to upgrade the grassroots economy in Dan Muang Kham Sub-district, Khok Si Suphan District, Sakon Nakhon Province, in collaboration with partner agencies, including:
Khok Si Suphan District Office, represented by Mr. Itthipon Chantanan, District Chief Officer
Khok Si Suphan District Agricultural Office, represented by Mr. Surasak Kenphithak, District Agricultural Officer
Khok Si Suphan District Community Development Office, represented by Pol.Sgt. Napaporn Thapsai, District Community Development Officer
Dan Muang Kham Subdistrict Administrative Organization, represented by Ms. Supaporn Phutsang, Mayor of the Subdistrict Administrative Organization
The signing took place at the location of the Elderly Weaving Vegetable Group, Ban Klang, Dan Muang Kham Sub-district, Khok Si Suphan District, Sakon Nakhon Province.
This signing marked a cooperation among the five agencies to promote, support, and exchange information in carrying out area-based research and academic services for community engagement to elevate the grassroots economy of local communities in Dan Muang Kham Sub-district. It also includes collaboration on the research project titled:
“Integrated Innovation of University-Community Engagement Missions of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University to Upgrade the Grassroots Economy: A Case Study of Vegetable Farmers Group in Dan Muang Kham Sub-district, Khok Si Suphan District, Sakon Nakhon Province”, and
“Raising Incomes of Elderly Farmers through Safe Agricultural Systems for Fresh Vegetable Production and Value-added Processed Products in Dan Muang Kham Sub-district.”
In addition, it aims to develop strategic integration of university engagement missions in implementing area-based research and academic services for community engagement to enhance the grassroots economy of Dan Muang Kham Sub-district, Khok Si Suphan District, Sakon Nakhon Province.”
