From January 13-15, 2023, the Student Development Division of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University organized the “Social Engineer” training course, marking the first class under the Soft Skills Development Project. The training took place at the Phu Phan Development Study Center, located in Ban Na Nok Khao, Huy Yang Sub-district, Sakon Nakhon.
Dr. Porntep Sethanopkao, Vice President for Student Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony. Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Chakrit Chanachitpricha, acting university president, visited the training session to encourage participating students.
The initiative, “Driving Social Engineering,” is a key focus area monitored by General Daopong Ratanasuwan, a royal advisor, regarding the university’s efforts to enhance students’ soft skills. The program aims to equip students with essential 21st-century skills, fostering their abilities as critical thinkers, communicators, coordinators, and innovators. Through hands-on experience using social engineering tools, students engaged in community research, identifying local issues and needs while collaboratively seeking solutions for local challenges.
