Study visit at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics

From November 28 to December 1, 2023, Professor Dr. Tosawat Seetawan, Vice President for Planning, Strategy, Innovation, and Global Mission, along with Dr. Wanatchaporn Namhongsa, International Affairs Officer, visited Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) in Nanjing, People’s Republic of China. They were warmly welcomed by Dr. Yong Li, Associate Dean of the College of International Education, and Professor Zhang Chaohai from the Department of Electrical Engineering, who facilitated a tour of the plasma laboratory.

During the visit, they engaged in discussions with Dr. Yong Li on the development of a dual-degree program between Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University (SNRU) and NUAA. The meeting focused on exploring curriculum integration and preparing for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) covering student exchange, knowledge sharing, technology collaboration, and sustainable development goals (SDGs).

The delegation also had the opportunity to visit the College of Materials Science and Technology, known for its expertise in materials development for the aviation and aerospace industries. The highlight was the aerospace parts fabrication laboratory, where students and researchers can experiment and develop components tailored to industry requirements.

Additionally, the team visited the Nanjing Quality Inspection Institute, renowned for its innovation in researching and testing environmentally friendly products. This visit provided valuable insights into quality testing processes and successful strategies for developing high-quality products.
