On March 13-14, 2023, the Faculty of Science and Technology at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University conducted the project “Using Scientific Innovations for Safety in Daily Life” in the Ban Wa Yai community, Wa Yai Subdistrict, Akat Amnuai District, Sakon Nakhon. The project, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wutichai Roschat, Vice Dean for Research, Academic Services, and Strategic Relations, was carried out by faculty members from the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Biomass Research and Development Unit, Institute for Research and Development, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University.

Community leaders and representatives participated in the activity, where knowledge, technology, and innovations related to biomass waste management were shared. The project focused on using biomass waste to produce high-quality organic fertilizers, helping reduce costs for farmers, improve safety by decreasing the use of chemicals in agriculture, and increase the value of biomass waste.
The community formed groups to manage the production and distribution of the organic fertilizers within the local area, creating a sustainable and strengthened agricultural system.
