On March 11-12, 2023, the Health and Sanitation Office of the Student Development Division at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University organized a basic first aid training activity as part of the “Developing Student Potential towards Becoming Volunteers” project. The event took place at the Creative Activities Room on the 3rd floor of Building 20 at the university.
The training aimed to provide students with fundamental knowledge of first aid, including basic life support (CPR/AED), addressing airway obstructions (Choking) in both children and adults, and how to position patients for recovery. The goal was for students to acquire skills that they can use in daily life, allowing them to provide basic care to themselves and others before professional medical help arrives. This training helps reduce the severity of health emergencies.
The event was opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Porntep Setthianonpakao, the Vice President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, with Ms. Sansanee Sutthong, the head of the Health and Sanitation Office, delivering a report.
