“On June 7–8, 2025, at Novotel Bangkok Future Park Rangsit Hotel, Associate Professor Dr. Kongpop Cha-amart, Vice President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, led a research team from Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University and Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Sakon Nakhon Campus, to participate in an intensive conference aimed at designing academic activities and enhancing training on completing full research reports.

“Doing Good, Achieving Results, What’s Next?”
The conference commenced with an inspiring keynote by Dr. Kitti Satjawattana, Director of the Thailand Science Research and Innovation Fund (TSRI), emphasizing the need for researchers to “consolidate academic outputs.” Since the program’s inception in 2020, the guiding question—“Doing Good, Achieving Results, What’s Next?”—has propelled research beyond basic work towards producing tangible, impactful outcomes.

Towards “Intellectual Power to Overcome Poverty, Eliminate Debt, and Generate Income”
Participants prepared for the forthcoming major academic event titled “Intellectual Power to Overcome Poverty, Eliminate Debt, and Generate Income: Integrating Data, Technology, Partnerships, and Relationships under Strategic Research Area Development for Poverty Eradication and Social Opportunity Creation,” scheduled for mid-July 2025.

Sakon Nakhon as a Model of Success
On the first day, Sakon Nakhon was honored to present its achievements. Associate Professor Dr. Kongpop Chaamat, project leader, showcased the province’s dedication and collaborative efforts that have positioned it as a model for poverty alleviation. The presentation focused on key themes including “Poverty Platforms” and “Professional Learning Communities (PLC),” highlighting the power of mechanisms, partnerships, and relationships.

Empowerment and Next Steps
The second day was dedicated to coaching and finalizing the comprehensive research reports for 2024. Researchers synthesized data and presented preliminary drafts to receive expert feedback and exchange knowledge with peers from 20 provinces nationwide.

This event represents a significant convergence of intellectual resources committed to producing meaningful societal benefits. It marks a pivotal milestone in leveraging academic research to enhance community well-being and drive sustainable transformation.”
