On 14 June 2024, the Center of Excellence for Alternative Energy, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University (SNRU), organized a hands-on training workshop titled “Knowledge Transfer and Innovation in Alternative Energy Technology 2024” at Chamchuri 1 Auditorium, SNRU. The event, held annually since 2014, aims to raise awareness of the importance of research and promote knowledge and development in the field of alternative energy. The workshop was officially opened by Mr. Teerawat Boonsom, Director of the Division of Research and Innovation Promotion, National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), followed by a project report delivered by Prof. Dr. Tosawat Sitawan, Vice President of SNRU. The morning session featured two keynote presentations: “Inventing and Innovating for Practical Application” by Mr. Teerawat Boonsom “The Future of Thin Film Innovation” by Dr. Mati Hopratum, Head of the Electrochemical Light Sensor Technology Research Team, National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) In the afternoon, participants engaged in six hands-on learning stations, designed to foster practical understanding of alternative energy concepts. This year, the event attracted over 500 students from schools and universities across the region, reflecting the growing interest in sustainable energy technologies.
