Effective from 1 August 2018 and determined as a measure of efficiency of government agencies. Starting from fiscal year 2019 onwards.
By virtue of section 31 (1) and (2) of the Rajabhat University act 2004. To ensure that waste reduction operations at the source within Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University are most efficient and effective. Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University has therefore established policies and measures to reduce solid waste as follows:

1. To All Staff and Students of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University to work together to change behavior and actively participate in reducing and separating solid waste.
2. Encouraging proper waste separation within the university is a fundamental step at least 2 types in responsible waste management.
3. All university agencies should promote eco-friendly teaching and learning practices by reducing paper usage and utilize double-sided printing.
4. All organization should encourage the hosting of environmentally friendly training sessions or seminars by minimizing the use of disposable containers and bags for food, drinks, and snacks.
5. All organization refrain from using plastics that contain oxo-type substances.
6. To all departments and shop operators within the university refrain from using and providing foam services or foam food packaging boxes thin plastic cups, plastic straws and plastic bags with handles less than 36 microns thick.
7. Shop operators within the university will provide discounts on beverages to all customers who bring their own reusable cups.
8. To all agency personnel handling hazardous materials and waste. These measures include proper storage, transportation, disposal, and documentation of hazardous substances and waste as outlined by applicable laws and regulations.
9. Establish a waste bank and recycling center within the university to manage and recycle waste effectively.
