The “Project for the Transfer of Agricultural Technology and Innovation” is a key component of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University’s local development strategy for the fiscal year 2022, falling under the framework of sustainable local development strategy number 3. This initiative is conducted in collaboration with Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University’s integrated business partnership project, aimed at enhancing the quality of life in the region. The project is allocated a budget of 140,000 Baht (one hundred forty thousand Baht) and is characterized by the following activities: Activity 1: “Transfer of Innovative High-Value Herb Production”: The AIC conducts activities focused on cultivating high-value herbs, with a target production capacity of 200 kilograms on an area of 2 rai (approximately 0.8 acres) at the organic rice community enterprise in Ban Nang Oi Phon Pla Lo, Tambon Tao Ngoy, Amphoe Tao Ngoy, Sakon Nakhon Province. Activity 2: “Transfer of Innovation for Cleaning Herbs, Vegetables, and Fruits Using Ozone”: The AIC implements the transfer of innovation by developing a prototype device for ozone cleaning of herbs, vegetables, and fruits. This device is installed at the organic agriculture community enterprise in Srikhrai Mai, Tambon That, Amphoe Wanon Niwat, Sakon Nakhon Province. Activity 3: “Management of the Agricultural Technology and Innovation Center in Sakon Nakhon Province.” Activity 4: “Exhibition of Agricultural Technology and Innovation.” The project for the transfer of agricultural technology and innovation has led to a significant improvement in participants’ income, with a minimum increase of 30%. Prior to their involvement in the project, participants had an average monthly income of 1,500 Baht. Upon the project’s completion, the participants’ income increased to 9,000 Baht, representing a remarkable 33.33% growth.
