The Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC), in collaboration with the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, organized a handover ceremony for the innovation project titled “Addressing Drought Problems with Solar-powered Water Pumping Technology for Communities and Society in Nong Bua Lamphu and Phichit Provinces.”
The event was presided over by Lt. Gen. Nukul Norachan, Director of Coordination Center 1, ISOC, and Dr. Wiparat De-Ong, Director of NRCT, and held at the Wang Thap Sai Subdistrict Administrative Organization in Sak Lek District, Phichit Province.
Honored guests included Mr. Khem Kongsinchai, District Chief of Sak Lek, and Professor Dr. Thossawat Sitawan, Vice President for Strategic Planning, Innovation, and International Missions at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, who also serves as the project leader.
This collaborative project utilizes solar-powered water pumping innovations to solve agricultural water management issues in drought-affected areas of Wang Thap Sai Subdistrict, Sak Lek District, Phichit Province, and Kud Phueng Subdistrict, Suwannakhuha District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province.
