On May 12, 2023, the Policy and Planning Division of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, on behalf of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI) in Sakon Nakhon, was invited by the Joint Private Sector Committee of Sakon Nakhon (comprising three institutions) to conduct an analysis and develop a plan for the Regional Economic Development Plan (Private Sector) of Sakon Nakhon Province for the fiscal years 2023-2027. The meeting was held at the Student Council Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Building 20, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University.
The meeting was opened by Prof. Dr. Thosawat Seetawan, Vice President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, who presented the basic data required for the plan’s development. Following the opening, the working committee, along with representatives from the Joint Private Sector Committee, engaged in a brainstorming session to develop the plan. The goal was to establish a strategic economic plan for the private sector in the region that aligns with other development plans in the area and follows national directives. Phase 1 of the initiative includes 17 pilot plans.
