Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University conducts training on curriculum development aligned with the 2022 Higher Education Standards.

On February 1, 2023, the Office of Academic Promotion and Registration at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University organized a workshop titled “Guidelines for Curriculum Development at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University Based on the 2022 Higher Education Standards.” Held in the Sroi Suwannana Meeting Room, the workshop featured guest speakers including Assistant Professor Dr. Jindaporn Chamratlertluk, Director of the General Education Office at Mahasarakham University, and Associate Professor Dr. Prasart Nungchalerm, a professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Mahasarakham University. These experts provided guidance via electronic media to help participants understand essential curriculum design principles, which serve as a foundation for educational management and direction. The curriculum, a key element of the educational process, ensures students’ holistic development, skills acquisition, and goal-oriented learning quality.

On February 8, 2023, the university held a curriculum review session according to the 2022 standards in the Student Council Meeting Room. Dr. Jindaporn led the session on “Drafting Curriculum Design Based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE)” and reviewed the Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University curriculum document draft with participating faculty.

On February 17, 2023, another practical workshop on “Creating Learning Outcomes in Compliance with the 2022 Higher Education Qualifications Standards” was conducted. This session aimed to foster understanding of “Curriculum Development for Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE) with an Outcome-Based Approach,” in line with the standards set by the Higher Education Standards Committee. The objective was to equip students with real-world experience, practical skills for the workforce, and competencies that align with labor market demands. The session was led by Dr. Alongkot Yawai, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Learning Innovation at Vongchavalitkul University, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Jindaporn Chamratlertluk and Associate Professor Dr. Prasart Nungchalerm, who provided insights via Zoom. Curriculum and department heads, as well as participating faculty, engaged in practical exercises using the Backward Curriculum Design process to ensure outcome-based curriculum development.
