From November 28 to December 1, 2023, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, represented by Assoc. Prof. Tosawat Sitthawan, Vice President, and Dr. Wanatchaporn Namhongsa, International Relations Officer, visited Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) in Nanjing, China. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Yong Li, Deputy Dean of the International College, and Professor Zhang Chaohai from the Department of Electrical Engineering.
During the visit, the team toured the plasma laboratory and discussed the establishment of a dual degree program between Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University and NUAA. Plans were made to share curriculum information and collaborate on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) focused on student exchange, knowledge sharing, technology transfer, and sustainable development goals (SDGs).
Additionally, the visitors had the opportunity to explore the College of Materials Science and Technology, which specializes in developing materials for the aerospace industry. One of the highlights of this visit was the spacecraft components manufacturing lab, where students and researchers can experiment and develop aerospace parts according to industry needs.
The delegation also visited the Nanjing Quality Inspection Institute, known for its expertise in researching and testing environmentally friendly products. This visit provided valuable insights into quality testing processes and the successful development of high-quality products.
This collaboration represents a significant step towards enhancing academic and technological ties between the two institutions, paving the way for future partnerships in research and education.
