On February 9, 2022, with Assistant Professor Chakrit Chanchitpreecha serving as Acting President, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University participated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the promotion and support of research in local development. This collaboration took place between research and development institutions from 38 Rajabhat universities via electronic media (Zoom Meeting). The signing ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Linda Kanma, President of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, who served as the Chairman of the meeting of presidents of Rajabhat University (R.P.R.R.). In attendance, the executive team and research and development institutes of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University witnessed the signing in the Sarasachandra Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Building 10. The main goal of this memorandum of understanding is to support and promote research according to the law, facilitate the organization of university groups for the development of local communities and other communities. Together, they aim to create research and innovation for sustainable local community development and apply knowledge that can be used to solve local community problems effectively, aligning with the development goals of each institution. This collaboration also involves promoting and supporting the analysis, synthesis, and lessons learned from the utilization of research and innovation, towards application for the benefit of commercial, social, and environmental policies, as well as other public interests. The participating institutions will work together to collect, filter, analyze, and synthesize urgent policy issues for decision-making within the senior management committee of the network of Rajabhat universities nationwide.
