Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University Hosts the 5th Rajabhat University Presidents Meeting

On November 14, 2023, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, led by Acting President Assoc. Prof. Chakarit Chanchitprecha, hosted the 5th Rectors’ Meeting of Rajabhat Universities. The meeting was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Linda Khaenma, the President of Ban Somdej Chaopraya Rajabhat University, attended by the President and advisors from all 38 Rajabhat universities, as well as the meeting secretary, at the Soisuwan Conference Room, 3rd floor of Building 10.

Key agenda items included:

  • Notification and discussion on the conferral of degrees for the year 2024
  • Policies from the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation
  • The Quick Wins initiative
  • Summary of recommendations from General Dapong Rattanasuwan, a royal advisor, during his visit to Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University
  • Progress reports on the Teacher Competency Development Project across all 38 Rajabhat universities
  • Updates on research initiatives under the PMUA (Platform for Local Enterprise) funding
  • Draft Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for collaboration in sports between the Olympic Committee of Thailand and all 38 Rajabhat universities.
    The meeting aimed to foster collaboration and share advancements in various educational and research initiatives.
