Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University’s Excellence Center for Indigo Organizes Forum on Adding Value to Indigo-dyed Fabrics for Creative Economy with Local Innovation
On May 25, 2023, the Excellence Center for Indigo, Research and Development Institute, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, organized a forum to discuss and gather feedback on the research proposal titled “Adding Value to Indigo-dyed Fabrics for the Creative Economy with Innovation Suitable for Local Communities.” The event took place at the Student Council Room, 3rd Floor, Building 20, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University.
The forum was graced by distinguished guests, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sakthai Sukritbovorn, a Senator from the National Assembly, and Mrs. Nirada Leungthitisakul, Deputy Governor of Sakon Nakhon Province, along with representatives from relevant government agencies.
Prof. Dr. Tosawat Sittawan, Vice President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, welcomed the attendees and presented the approach for implementing the research project under the cooperation network of the Office of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) in the Northeastern region. Following this, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanakorn Rachphila, Deputy Director of the Research and Development Institute, presented the research project framework. The event also featured a tour of an exhibition showcasing research outcomes, technology, and innovations from the seven research units of the Excellence Center for Indigo.
