On August 5, 2024, Asst. Prof. Chakrit Chanchitpreecha, President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, presided over the opening ceremony of the project “Creating Soft Power through Indigo and Natural Dyes: The Creativity of ‘Mook Sakon Nakhon’ Patterns”, held at Building 1 (Institute of Language, Arts, and Culture), Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University.
The objective of the project is to promote and enhance the image of local wisdom and community products—specifically, the Mook-pattern indigo fabrics from Ban Wang Pla Sueam, Ban Phon Subdistrict, Phon Na Kaeo District, Sakon Nakhon Province—through a “Mook Indigo” Fashion Show.
The project was presented and summarized by Mr. Nakavee Danlaphon, lecturer in Home Economics, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University.
