“On 16 December 2024, Asst. Prof. Chakrit Chanchitprecha, President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, presided over the handover ceremony of agricultural machinery and technological innovations developed by the university. These inventions and research-based products have been commercially adapted and were delivered to representatives from 18 district-level agricultural institutions. The event took place at the Conference Room of the Sakon Nakhon Provincial Center for Agricultural Technology and Innovation, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University. The initiative was conducted in collaboration with the Office of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Sakon Nakhon Province, under the provincial budget for the fiscal year 2024 (B.E. 2567). The university was assigned as the implementing agency for the “Agricultural Product Enhancement and Farmer Development Project through Agricultural Technology and Innovation.” The following equipment was officially handed over: 5 sets of mobile solar-powered water pumping carts 5 greenhouse structures for plant cultivation 2 sets of agricultural water distribution systems 2 electric grass cutters In addition, one unit each of the following innovations was delivered: Potato digger Seed drill for walk-behind tractors Rice dehusking machine Mobile solar-powered multi-purpose dryer Vacuum sealing machine Can sealing machine Asst. Prof. Dr.Tanakorn Rachapila, Director of the Sakon Nakhon Provincial Center for Agricultural Technology and Innovation, presented the project report. He emphasized the successful application of locally developed technologies to reduce dependence on imported machinery and to enhance the productivity and efficiency of agricultural processes. This transfer reflects the university’s commitment to supporting sustainable agricultural development and technology-driven innovation in rural communities.”
