On June 24, 2022, the Faculty of Science and Technology at Rajabhat Sakon Nakhon University organized a training program focused on laboratory safety. The specific topic of the training was the safe utilization of laboratories. Associate Professor Permsak Yeemin, the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, delivered the opening speech. The training program saw the participation of students from five departments within the Faculty of Science and Technology. Its primary objective was to prepare first-year students for their academic and research endeavors, which would involve laboratory work and the handling of chemicals. Furthermore, the program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of other students who were actively involved in research projects or were in the preparation phase, as well as those about to embark on professional internships. Throughout the training, a key emphasis was placed on the importance of personal safety, safety considerations for others, and environmental safety when working in laboratories and conducting scientific experiments. These safety measures are foundational in the field of scientific research and experimentation.
