On January 11, 2022, the Department of Agricultural Promotion held a meeting to follow up on collaborative efforts with Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University. The visit took place at the Sakon Nakhon Betel Nut Association in Sang Kho District, Phu Phan, Sakon Nakhon Province. Deputy President Associate Professor Chakit Chanchitpricha welcomed attendees alongside Mr. Konp Wannawong, President of the Sakon Nakhon Betel Nut Association, and Ms. Pallin Puangmee, Director of the Agricultural Research and Development Promotion Division.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the application of research findings and collaboration strategies. Attendees also visited the processing facility at Wannawong Fruit Wine Co., Ltd., where they exchanged insights on challenges related to developing the supply chain.
The event saw participation from over 50 representatives from various collaborating organizations, including Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, the regional branch of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, and local business operators.
On January 12, 2022, a further meeting took place to discuss academic development collaboration between the Department of Agricultural Promotion and the university, with key figures from both sides engaging in discussions at the university’s Sor Suwan Meeting Room.
