In 2021, the university organized “the Kudbak Model” under the Poverty Management Project at the District Level of Kudbak district, Sakon Nakhon province, by supporting organic mushroom production and organic vegetables. This project has cooperated with government agencies, the private sector, and civil society. The objective is to support the social entrepreneur group and to build a local social business network mentor. There are 122 households are joining this project in the following activities:
- Production factors
- Innovation and use of water-less technology from AIC Center of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University
- BMC-SE project from UB-SNRU Center and the training project of promoting distribution in the community market
- Food security model with safe food production systems (using integrated plot management as a tool) and enhancing agricultural career skills by creating added value from local resources and creating a circular economy in the area. It also develops a collaborative learning process in coexistence with resources towards sustainable development.
Project output/outcome
- One group of social entrepreneurs and will expand the results in the following year.
- Households earn 10% more.
