Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University (SNRU) launched the “SDG14 Life Below Water” project to raise awareness and promote the sustainable use of Nong Han water resources. The project aims to conserve, restore, and ensure the balanced utilization of the aquatic ecosystem. The main activity was a seminar held on February 6-7, 2024, under the topic “Directions for Sustainable Use of Water Resources: Case Study of Nong Han Water Resources.” The event was attended by over 60 participants, including the Deputy Governor of Sakon Nakhon, local administrators, community representatives, and university staff. Key discussions focused on planning sustainable resource management, conserving biodiversity, and addressing the urgent issue of “Alien Aquatic Species” in Nong Han, which significantly impacts the local ecosystem.
