Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University participated in the meeting on “Developing the Potential of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) Frontline to Drive Effective Operations,” along with the MHESI frontline from all 76 provinces nationwide.
On April 4, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Chakrit Chanachitprecha, Acting President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, along with staff from the Office of Policy and Planning, participated in the meeting through Zoom Cloud Meetings at the Research and Development Institute, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University. The meeting was held with the MHESI Frontline in all 76 provinces. The meeting was presided over by Prof. (Special) Dr. Anusorn Anothasin, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation’s Press Conference Room.
Assoc. Prof. Chakrit Chanachitprecha, on behalf of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, presented the Sakon Nakhon MHESI Frontline’s achievements over the past two years, which included significant successes, especially in the implementation of the University to the Tambon Project (U2T), contributing to national development. The project created a strong foundation for the country and established collaborations with key agencies. The MHESI Frontline plays a crucial role as a mechanism for driving local economic development, acting as a link between the Ministry of Higher Education and the local regions. It includes universities, research institutions, and other MHESI-related mechanisms outside the region. Despite the successes, there are ongoing challenges and future tasks for the MHESI Frontline to drive the nation’s development, aiming to make Thailand a developed country by 2037
