On December 13, 2023, the Research and Development Institute of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, led by Assistant Professor Oranong Kandech, Deputy Director of the Institute, along with research personnel and experts from local research initiatives in the northeastern region, conducted field visits to assess and exchange knowledge on local research operations.
The focus was on the project titled “Developing a Participatory Empowerment Model for Families and Children with Learning Disabilities,” which aims to enhance the quality of life and mental resilience for individuals with disabilities in Sakon Nakhon Province. Dr. Hansa Ongkling was the project leader, and stakeholders reflected on previous operations while establishing a timeline for future activities.
On December 14, 2023, the team continued their field evaluations, this time examining the project on “Developing a Safe Vegetable Production System for Aging Farmers” in Dan Muang Kam Subdistrict, Koksrisuphan District, Sakon Nakhon Province. Dr. Pichika Teamsuksa led this project, where partners shared insights from past activities and knowledge management strategies for cultivating garlic chives suited to local soil conditions, laying the groundwork for future implementation and scaling.
