Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University signs a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in library development and vocational training with Sakon Nakhon Provincial Prison

“On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Library Development and Professional Training in collaboration with Sakon Nakhon Provincial Prison. The signing ceremony took place at Meeting Room 1111, 1st Floor, Language and Computer Center Building.
Associate Professor Chakrit Chanchitprecha, President of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, signed the agreement jointly with Mr. Narongpong Pisil, Director of Sakon Nakhon Provincial Prison.
The purpose of this collaboration is to develop the library at Sakon Nakhon Provincial Prison in preparation for the official opening of the “Wisdom Library” within the prison. The library aims to serve as an effective learning resource center by providing access to knowledge, academic materials, and useful information. It will also organize learning promotion activities to support education, vocational skill development, moral and ethical enhancement, as well as physical and mental well-being. This initiative seeks to provide inmates with opportunities for self-improvement and rehabilitation, aligning with the mission of the Department of Corrections to reintegrate good citizens back into society.”
