On June 2, 2023, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic collaboration with the Sakon Nakhon Municipality. The signing ceremony was held at the multi-purpose hall of Sakon Nakhon Municipality, with the participation of Associate Professor Dr. Somboon Chaomaikong, Vice President of the University, and Mr. Komut Tikatananon, Mayor of Sakon Nakhon Municipality.
The MOU focuses on providing public health services aligned with the standards of primary care at Sakon Nakhon Municipality Health Center 1 (Naweng) and includes academic cooperation and research initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents within the Sakon Nakhon Municipality area. The objective of this MOU is to integrate the resources of both organizations to support academic services in public health development, health research, and wellness improvement, ultimately leading to a higher quality of life for people of all ages within the municipality. Additionally, it aims to create a learning environment for staff, students, and trainees.
