Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University’s Faculty of Management Science Enhances 21st Century Skills for Public Administration Students

On December 26, 2023, the Faculty of Management Science at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University organized a capacity-building project for students majoring in Public Administration, featuring a workshop titled “Youth Creating Local Innovations.” The event focused on the comprehensive development of sprouted rice.

The project was inaugurated by Assistant Professor Dr. Samart Aikorn, the Dean of the Faculty, at the Chamchuri 2 Auditorium. The activities began with lessons on the principles of sufficiency economy in accordance with the “Khok Nong Na” model, promoting organic rice cultivation using low-cost organic materials. The program also included sessions on transforming sprouted rice into various products and packaging to add value, emphasizing market strategies to reach niche markets.

Esteemed guest speakers included Ms. Kalapankha Fuery, President of the Thai SME Federation in Sakon Nakhon, and Mr. Thanatsorn Thaoyabutr, an educational supervisor from the Sakon Nakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office, along with leaders from several community enterprises. They provided valuable insights and hands-on training to the students, equipping them with knowledge that could help them develop supplemental or primary careers in the future.
