SNRU’s General Education: Integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University offers a General Education Program for undergraduate students in all fields of study. This program requires students to complete at least 24 credits from all subject groups. It also includes two specific courses focused on sustainable development goals (SDGs).

  1. Sciences for Life
    Scientific processes and science skills, type of science, principles for safe consumption of food, drugs, and cosmetics, energy and renewable energy, principles of Sustainable Development BCG model (Bio-Circular-Green Economy) good environment and quality of life, product development and design, basic of Intellectual property and patenting including the impact of scientific and technological progress on human beings, the environment, the economy and culture, practice science problem solving process skills.
  2. Circular Lifestyle for the 21st Century
    Learning the value and living with nature, the crisis of resource problems, climate and environmental emergencies, carbon footprint, solid waste problem, and zero waste concept, guidelines for reducing and sorting waste, concept throughout the life cycle, circular economy concept, revolving business model, design thinking under the circular economy, concept way of life under the concept of circular economy, awareness and drive towards a way of life under the concept of circular economy and circular economy society.
