The project’s main goal is to strengthen the role of communities and civil society to sustainably manage natural resources in wetlands by driving laws and policies related to water management, fishery resources, and community forests.
The meeting featured presentations on biodiversity policies and provided a forum for provincial and regional stakeholders to review progress and exchange lessons learned. The emphasis was on ensuring effective community participation at every stage, marking a significant step towards promoting sustainable resource management for long-term benefit.
