On January 26, 2022, the Office of the Secretary-General of Rajabhat Sakon Nakhon University organized the first meeting of the Local Resource Base Group. The course focused on integrating local resource work into local government organizations. The meeting was held online from January 26-27, 2022, with Associate Professor Chakrit Chanchitpreecha acting as the chairperson, and Associate Professor Dr. Waro Pengsawat, the Deputy Secretary-General for Academic Affairs and Director of the Center, giving a report. The meeting included a presentation on integrating local resource work into local government organizations, analyzing the alignment of local resource work with local government organizations, planning and implementing local resource base work in three aspects and six tasks, as well as addressing issues and providing suggestions and guidelines for implementing local resource base work in line with the project to conserve plant genetic resources initiated by the Royal Initiative. The speakers included consultants and deputy directors from the Office of the Secretary-General of Rajabhat Sakon Nakhon University, with a total of 204 participants from 114 organizations in 8 provinces in the Upper Northeastern Region.
